Spring Meeting 2016

Tuesday 26th April 2016 at The Golf House Club,Elie

The Spring Meeting will take the form of a simple golf event.  There will be no presentations prior to playing golf but Guina Topping from the event sponsor Premium Credit and a representative from Intelligent Golf will also be present to give advice and details of the services they provide.

The first tee off shall be at 11.00am (Committee members should note that there shall be a committee meeting preceding the golf and commencing at 9.00am).  and directions to theclub can be found on

Bacon Roll and tea/coffee shall be available from 10.00am and the golf shall be followed by a High Tea and presentation of prizes.

The competition for the Thurston Trophy shall be a stokeplay event and there shall be the usual three handicap prizes and one Scratch prize.  Sweepstake prizes and magic 2 competitions shall also be run.

Whilst is is the confirmed wish of the members that our competitions be 'non counting' for handicap, we are assured that the performance measuring facility provided by this Intelligentgolf website can still provide the same analysis as 'counting' competitions.

Members are reminded that this competition is run in concert with the Autumn Meeting for aggregate prizes!

As usual we would expect our members to present themselves in jacket and tie.

Members are offered the facility of online banking but we must insist of payment being received before the day of play and members must ensure that enough information is provided with the payment such that the funds can be properly attributed to the member. (see below)  Members are reminded that it is the policy of the Region that final numbers provided to the host club shall be paid for so no refunds shall be made for withdrawals after that date.  Payment may also be made by cheque if preferred.  Payment details for Direct Banking can be obtained from the Regional Secretary by telephone.  For security reasons we are not putting them up on the internet.  Please use "SMyour name" as the reference.
