Summer Meeting at Hilton Park Golf Club.

This event was held on Wednesday 27th June on a really poor day for weather but the course held up remarkably well and those who did turn up reached harbour safely.  Our thanks go of course to the host secretary Gordon Simpson who had to withdraw on the day due to a family emergency.  The results were as follows;

Captains Tankard;

Winner          Alan Williams with 36 points (His first ever Association prize!)
Runner up    Ian Murchison with 34 points BB6  (The evergreen!)
Third              Jim Kean with 34 points (A new dark horse perhaps?)

The Ladies Vase was not contested as there were no Ladies present.
